lucifershalo
maybe it will be easier to find a NTSC TI99
sometimes99er
This is how I understand it. I'm an emulator guy only, so ... European consoles needs external encoding circuitry to output "RGB". US consoles outputs "Composite Video" (and needs a resistor/capacitor in the cable). mainbyte.com

humeur
I ordered a video cable for my TI99 but I received the wrong one I didnt know the US video output was different than european one I have a 6 pin (5 in round and one in the middle) and I received a 5 pin cable is it easy to modify? I've already answered this question. the ti99 euro can be used with the US cable. Just work with the pal or secam ( with SCART ) interface. the vdp is different. You have a schematic of this interface. jean louis. Edited September 3, 2010 by humeur

They suggested that I could connect Y to composite video connector, it did give me black/white picture. Also tryed old Commodore 1084S monitor with CVBS, gives nice B/W picture. But no colors. Green(Y) gives picture, but pic stays B/W, I tryed plug in those other two blue and red connectors with Y. With blue B/W picture looks better. http://www.ti99.com/ti99r1.htm

Davvel
I just received a new TI 99 Console which I purchased from France. It had a SECAM Scart Plug output. What is the simplest/cheapest way to hook it up with a PAL TV?
