hex65000
While I don't particularly like DLC for various reasons, this is one case where I have gotten good mileage for my money. Still wish I could get a CD with everything without having to rebuy the game. Anyway, the fourth content installment in Borderlands was announced... A new level cap, and some other minor tweaks it seems. Joystiq link Hex. [ Between this and Sacred 2, I could have no life for a good 6 months and still not have done everything... 0_o ]
Mendon
There have been news stories on the web that a Borderlands Ultimate Edition is due to release sometime within the next month or so. Not sure if this ultimate edition will contain Claptrap Revolution but it was reported that it will contain all the previous DLC's. MagitekAngel
Yeah, there's a GOTY release coming out, October, yes it has all 4 packs. I would have bought the game already but now this is coming out, so....

Video
I'll wait until the GOTY version comes out a month or so later. No reason for the "nickle and dimeing" crap, when there is a legit full game coming out on it's heals.
ianoid
My problem is becoming this: I'd like to get the GOTY just as a collector, but then I want to play Claptrap. So do I crack a sealed game to play a piece of DLC? May sound stupid, but if you're going to pay good money for these modern/new games, they're like used cars. They lose half their value when you drive 'em off the lot. So if I get the BL GOTY, I may be tempted to never open it. And if I'm not going to open it, I might as well wait until it's $29.99 or less. I love Borderlands, so I probably am going to aim for sealed copies of both versions. Perhaps I should just find someone to disc share for the DLC. Don't wait for Borderlands 2, this is a great game. RPG with no worries about story or ethics. Just loot and level up. And the DLC has given it some good legs.
