Side Project: 9 Mines

Just so I don't go crazy working on DK3, which I haven't done (since nobody can provide an better collision detection routine), I have begun work on a little program I like to call "9 Mines." The gameplay is this: Guide Mr. Idiotstick to the goal. The goal is across a minefield. Step on a mine and the game resets. There are 9 mines hidden. (Well, not in this build.) The problem is this: I can't figure out a way to have a clear path all the way through. Can anyone help? I have 284 bytes left if I keep it at 2k.

* You could have a "sweeper" pixel move through the maze clearing the active pixels as it goes.

* You could make pre-made sections of maze that always connect together and print sections of maze as you go.

By the way.. I need more input on my Nite Bear game.

Take a gander if you find the time. The Boss is so evil it refuses to register a collision with the player!
