badinsults
For anyone who hasn't visited SNES Central, I do a lot of work on Super Nintendo prototypes and unreleased games. Though I endeavor to make my website be the Atari Age of the SNES, I can only focus my attention on a select amount of things at a particular time, and I think that writing about prototypes is one of the most important things to tackle. Today, I have two prototypes I made articles on. Both of these are courtesy of Martin from NES World. The first is TKO Super Championship Boxing. There isn't much to say about this one, as the only difference from the final version is that the checksum in the internal header is not calculated. The second is a bit more substantial, a prototype of Zoop. The prototype has a date stamp on the title screen, and has some changes to the amount of blobs you must kill to proceed to the next level. I also believe there are some differences in music tracks. Edited September 27, 2010 by badinsults
