José Pereira
Like I said on the other Topic I am with a Isometric Game in Hands for Months. I have Sprites, way of translate into A8,... I also get by now, sucessfully the NES Chars and have the into 4colour 2:1. So, what I want? Just want to know some new things!... CHAR/TILES ANTIC4 Char-Mode with FINE SROLLING: 5Colours and Fine Scrolling: O.K. But how it is done? For ex.: Moving UpRight - You put 1pixel (2pixels because it's 2:1, 1colour clock) HScroll Reg. right and then 1pixel VScroll Reg. (Fine Scrolling Enabled)? Do like this for all other side movements? ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ CHARSETS: If I have more than 128Chars (1Charset) and need even more for the SoftSprites. How to get out of this? Is it possible to do like: ACE... BDF... Chars on Line Now how to place Soft Sprites? From other Topic's converstion someone says it will be difficult to do like a Char-Mode in "pseudo-bitmap", replace the Gfxs.Chars with the SoftSprite Chars. If so, could I have, for ex.: 1Charset by two Lines. ACE... BDF... and just normally SoftSprite routine. Soft Sprites beiing another Chars (Inverse, OR, AND,...), normal Soft Sprite routine. O.k., want I want from this? Instead of having each Char nº as one Gfx., have the Screen Gfxs. in CharMode and act as Bitmap. Then Soft Sprites as normal/usual with their own Chars (includ. shifting,...) Anyone can help at this one? Thanks. Greetings. José Pereira. José Pereira
Hi. Yes, PAC-MANIA is coming into A8! Another great Game that was missing in our Games Library. Let's wait, but I think it will look very good, plays very good and coded by a very competent A8 guy... José Pereira.
