MGC Friday Tour Announced

Recommended Posts

I've been working on this for a while, and information just went up on the site -- brand new for our 10th Anniversary, we're going to run a tour on Friday, March 25th, 2011 that we've named the "Arcade: Factory to Floor" tour.

With this tour, we are going to take a group of people from the Milwaukee Brookfield Sheraton to the following locations:

Stern Pinball - Check out the factory floor and see how pinball machines go from thousands of parts into just one single machine! You'll see the exact line where thousands of pinball machines have been made.

ParTec, Inc - ParTec, Inc has been in business since 1986, assembling many of the most popular video arcade games in their assembly plant! ParTec is the assembly facility for Raw Thrills and Play Mechanix titles, so you'll get to see the factory that makes popular titles such as Big Buck Hunter, H2Overdrive, Terminator Salvation, Super Bikes 2, and many more popular current day arcade video games!

GameWorks - To get the whole arcade picture, tour goers will be off to GameWorks to get to play in their huge arcade for two hours, as well as take part in their exceptional burger bar! If that isn't enough, GameWorks will have their General Manager and Head Tech on hand to answer your questions about what it is like to operate one of the country's best arcades!

And More - The bus rides themselves will be an event! Board the coach buses that will be taking you to these different locations, and during the ride you'll get a chance to watch videos on arcades, compete in trivia against other bus riders, and more!

The Arcade: Factory to Floor tour is the perfect way to kick off your Midwest Gaming Classic experience! You can get the tour in a package with two-day event tickets, Friday Night Clock Chaos pinball tournament entry, a 10th Anniversary shirt, MGC Lanyard and MGC Circle sticker for just $150. The standalone tour is $95. Tour cost includes all associated bus, food and arcade play fees.

If you want to go, tickets are on sale now at here: http://www.midwestgamingclassic.com/tickets/

More details can be found here: http://www.midwestgamingclassic.com/at-the-show/arcade-tour/

Please note -- if you wish to go, please sign up as soon as possible! We have a *very limited* amount of spots that we are going to open up for this tour, and once they are gone, they are gone. We are purposely limiting tour group size to ensure that everyone gets an amazing experience, and we will not be willing to increase the tour size beyond what we have slated.

Finally, if you have already pre-ordered tickets, we will be contacting you to see if you wish to add-on this tour package.

Hope to see you there!
