Getting 2nd Button working on NES to Atari PAD hack?

Alright, this has been discussed here before, but seeing as the only electronics knowledge I have is how to do very basic soldering jobs, I need a little help.

I have a NES pad that I bought off Ebay that has been pre-modded for the Atari, but the 2nd button has not yet been modded to work.

I was told that I need 2 x 600 ohm resistors and that I need to follow this guide: (scroll down to Hardware item #10)

.

http://www.atariage.com/7800/faq/index.html?SystemID=7800#cat2_9

But this makes little sense to me seeing as I'm a novice and all. So does anyone have a picture based tutorial I can follow? Also where do I order 2 600ohm resistors and ensure that I get the correct kind?

Thankx!

I am guessing you got a modd'd nes pad because the 7800 'europads' aren't so common or plentiful over there
