Any good scans of Serial Number decals?

My 800XL is under the knife for some restoration. Ideally my scanner would scan the decal perfectly and I could print it out. Unfortunately, the base of the keyboard is too large for the scanner bed. so I get this.

 

 

Fuzzy text, as it's out of the range of focus for the scanner. What are you guys doing?

I never look at the bottom of my XL

I have a flatbed scanner that allows the system to lie right on the glass. There are no limits to what fits. It's an HP 4890.

Thanks. I think some photoshopping might be in order. My scanner is an all in one job. Works great on smaller items, but I've never had to scan anything so bulky before.

I don't think so...

 

None of the prototype stuff had labels, did it? I know some 1200s had 'Pilot Run' labels, but that's about it.
