Tenorman
I see that My Atari carries two different double-sided double-density drives on their website. The PCF314 is a little bit cheaper, but I haven't been able to find much information about this drive online. What is the difference between this drive and the SF314? I would be connecting the drive to a 1040STF if that makes any difference.
OldAtarian
They look functionally equivalent to me. I've never heard of that drive before, either. It may not be an Atari branded drive, it might be a third party drive or something they put together in house.

Tenorman
FYI: "It is functionally equivalent. PCF are drives Atari made for their PC Compatible computers. It was a 5 1/4" drive that we swapped the 5 1/4" mech for a 3 1/2" mech. They use the same 14 Pin DIN cable the ST line uses, but is physically larger like an Atari XF-551."
