bojay1997
So, I have been seeing all these Atari7800.com auctions pop up on Ebay and after looking at their catalog, it appears that they are just reselling Video 61's stock as all the available games and prices are identical. Does anyone know who they are and what their relationship if any is to Video 61? Has anyone actually dealt with them?
AtariNerd
So, I have been seeing all these Atari7800.com auctions pop up on Ebay and after looking at their catalog, it appears that they are just reselling Video 61's stock as all the available games and prices are identical. Does anyone know who they are and what their relationship if any is to Video 61? Has anyone actually dealt with them? Atari7800.com s a fan site, with no real connection to Atari or any of it's subsidiary companies. A few personalities in the Atari community are associated with it, though, some with their own email accounts and a few with their own sub-pages on the site. I haven't personally bought from them, yet, but Video61 is considered a respectable company in the community. You get a fe anomalies, though. For, example, If you visit kjmanns personal site, his store pages are basically a new navigation system for the Video61 site. He's associated with them, as are a few other coders that produce new games that sell through the Video61 store. He also has an association with atari7800.com, I believe, like I mentioned above. So what you are probably seeing is a collision of the two, either him or one of a few others that share the same circumstance.
