I only remember an unbid synth at 50$ on december from ChevyFrank after that, we all stop listing, was a bad time, I sold 2 synths to that German guy (the only 2 I have), a long time a go when I start to sell on Ebay UK. The mail was delay and he open a case and a seconds later, a claim. He recieves his money back but when the items arrived, I was unwilling to pay back, and when he finally did so, he discounts like 40 pounds for compensation. Of course, I add him at my blocked bidders list. And I was thinking to add him to the bad sellers list on Atari Age. He also bought from me a compumate, an Atari 800xl and a Atari 410 drive, I also send him some free games in the packet.. I was planning to make a lot of trouble when he listed the synths, since in the Ebay listing was the serial number, but well, at least I have part of my monet back. The funny thing is that a lot of people thinks the Venezuelans are sacamming people, but the real scammers are Well reputated sellers with thousands of positives form Germany, Australia, Italy, UK, US and so on.. I think initially people were reluctant to bid on the Venezuelan auctions so both the synths and lots of the games went for quite cheap plus people started assuming that there was going to be tons of these so that capped the price as well. Recently there hasn't been as many listed and the price seems to be back above $100 although as I guessed and Ed confirmed this is simply a guy trying to make a substantial profit on a resell, which I won't be bidding on.
