nitrofurano
hi! months ago i started this project about sending webcam captured pictures (on Linux, due on its development simplicity when compared with other operating systems) to 8bit computers, since i started to code picture converters to these computers since years ago, and i wanted to provide a more interesting use of them http://nitrofurano.altervista.org/experimental/webcampictureson8bitcomputers/index.html for now only the zx-spectrum and coco2 versions are ready (and only the zx-spectrum version were tested), and i were curious to do the same on other machines like Atari800 Atari800 looks like having a very interesting hardware spec for a project like this, but i confess it's a machine i know almost nothing about - i don't know how to poke in the video memory, how to load and and binary files specially from and to the video memory, how to record and load .tap files, how to convert these .tap into .wav files (converters coded in Python, Perl, Lua, Ruby, etc., are very welcome!) If someone can help in a project like this, please let me know! cheers and thanks, p.
