Tickled_Pink
It's weird, but from time to time I keep thinking back to the days when I used to rent games via mail order. Unlike today, you could keep a game for a week at a time. Without game rentals, I'd have never had the chance to play something like Omnitrend's Universe back in the day. I can't remember the name of the company I used to use. They probably advertised in Atari User in the mid-late eighties.
Tezz
I used to rent stuff from Midland Games library back in the eighties. I can't remember anything about the company now apart from the name

Tickled_Pink
Never lived in the 80s. Was it cool then? XD The music was a bit shit I hear people saying that all the time but I always think "compared to when? Now?" I can probably name just half a dozen songs from the mainstream chart last year that genuinely weren't a pile of dog shite. Might have been Midland I was with, BTW. FULS
Hi, I used to rent Atari 400/800 Games from 'Wedgwood Rental' in Fort Worth, TX. from about 1983 to 1987. They were around $5.00 apiece for a week. I would order 10 at a time to save on postage. They were really a great company.

Good point - I am certainly no fan of 99% of what's out there now. Guess it's easy to forget that most music sucks, from all time periods
