Crazy Climber
I think General Hellfire was collecting these also? Haven't seen him around in a while though so...maybe not
Zwackery
These are in demand? They could have been had for 1 buck each - eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220736938379 and eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220736939419 - but didn't get any bids, or 10 bucks each - eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220741873847 and eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220741874396 - but didn't get any bids, and are now are listed at 30 bucks each? Are these being ignored because people look at them as pirates?
Cebus Capucinis
Are these being ignored because people look at them as pirates? That's likely the reason. Much more narrow scope of collectors interested in pirates! My problem is for some asinine reason I forget they exist until someone literally shoves them in my face. I guess I'm out now that Wonder is in, I have some $ but not enought to compete with him

Are these being ignored because people look at them as pirates? Only a few people collect them. They seem to be more for the "collector who has everything" They are kind of unique in that they are American released NTSC pirates instead of the usual Brazil stuff. They used to be insanely rare but then a huge stash of them was found about 5 years ago and Ebay was flooded with them. I had around 10 of them at one point but decided they were a little boring and sold them all, think I got around $20 each. Fun Fact - I think CPUWIZ did an analysis on the paper of one of these to prove they were 20+ years old IIRC. Cool! The auctions never ended he pulled them early. I was a bidder on them. I guess I'm out now that Wonder is in, I have some $ but not enought to compete with him Hey Man, even Wonder forgets to bid now and then. NEVER SAY DIE! I vaguely remember some controversy with these. Wasn't there a claim that someone was re-making these and selling them as though they were NOS? Yes, somebody had a hoard of them, and they were all MINT/unused condition. People started thinking they were fakes but IIRC the Wiz did a paper analysys (from a stamp collector?) and it was proven they were real. CPUWIZ
Yes, these are really old pirates, they actually have their own circuit boards (which look very much like ones from Brazil I've looked at).
