Review of My Video61 Transaction

I ordered seven titles from modern-day Atari dealer Video61, received them, inspected them, and am totally satisfied. Among the titles is a cartridge of Adventureland gfx version. I plugged it into my Atari 600XL with 320XL upgrade, and it seems to work fine. That's a cartridge conversion from this century. It has a home-made-sort-of label. I was given a bonus Adventure International hintbook © 1983 in my order. The rest of my items were all diskette software, including a new, shrinkwrapped Newsroom publishing package. As well I received Casino Parlor Games, Childsplay Jubilee with Concentration, Adventure Pak and Strategy Simulations by Keypunch software. Each with simple plastic packing and paper sleeve. Finally there is shrinkwrapped Adventure Trilogy. Everything is new as far as I can tell.

I have read comments by persons unhappy with Video61 for one reason or other, and I am not arguing with those. I just say that my experience has been satisfactory. Timing of the shipment was like a week or little more past when I ordered. I paid with Paypal.

Thanks Video61!

Video61...

Ordered 3 carts, a real long time ago (Sparta-Dos 3.3c, Zybex, Atartris).

All 3 where in used cartridge shells without labels. (There were 3 very small square white papers included with something printed on it with a matrix printer of which I suppose these have to used as labels).

Due to the socketed EPROMs the shells don't close 100% and the Zybex cart was hold together with tape to make it at least fit into an XL. It did work at arrival but at trying that cart about 1 year later it was dead.

You probably did try it in an Atari that was touched by TXG.
