Likely what happened is that you didn't download correctly (this is a binary attachment and cannot be downloaded as ascii). The framerate is little bit slower because there's also now extra C code for the object display. But this can be optimized later by converting into asm. But when I'd lower the resolution it would be pretty fast also (at the cost of wall detail). Note the update is about the green man moving back and forth if anyone noticed...
