Dizzy
Hello, I would like to daisy chain an SIO2SD to an ATARI 810 disk drive. I had a problem doing it : I connected the SIO2SD to the Atari 810, but when I power up the 810, the SIO2SD does not power up (the display is not lit). Does anyone know how to daisy chain a SIO2SD to a 810 disk drive ? Thanks !
Rybags
SIO2SD gets it's power from the computer. So, in theory it should work once the computer's turned on. Just don't plug or unplug it while the power is available to it, there's the chance it'll brownout the AVR and it'll need reprogramming. Thanks a lot !!! that was it ! in fact I thought the 810 would power the sio2sd so I didn't try to power up the Atari. Now it works fine.
