utamav91
Got a PS2 and the following four games: Gran Turismo A-spec NCAA March Madness 2002 Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 All-Star Baseball 2003 How'd I do? Any hints/comments about the games? I love sports video games, and don't have the time or much interest in adventure/role-playing games. I'd also be interested in any thoughts on a good hockey title to rent before I buy.
Scooterb23
Good quality titles there Mav...Gran Turismo will eat a lot of time... as far as hockey goes, you can't go wrong with the EA Sports NHL line...I have 2002, and my Avalanche are on their way to their second straight Cup
utamav91
After I've had a few days to play it, I highly recommend the Tiger Woods 2003 game. It looks as good as any game I've ever seen for any system. It's fun, but there's a nice balance between arcade golf and actual simulation. It's excellent, and my wife enjoys playing it too. We're playing the mode where you start out with a rookie golfer and everytime you get a birdie, hole-in-one, chip-in, etc. you earn money, which in turn can be used to upgrade your ability (if you ever played Baseball Stars on the NES where you upgraded players after each game, it's similar to that). Awesome game all the way around.
