Thanks again for that video, Tursi, it's extremely informative and I'm very grateful for it. I'm not yet familiar enough with the TI-99/4A architecture to start really digging, but I feel a lot closer to being ready after watching your video. :D


The only thing I'm left wondering is whether there's any way to survive once the game turns nasty...am I missing something? Is there some way to survive, dodge, "hunker down" or manipulate the falling objects that I haven't figured out? As far as I can tell, it's literally impossible to avoid them on higher levels, even if you have perfect reflexes -- your climber just isn't fast enough, and there are too many bottlenecks. Or was it just an evil joke on the part of the programmers to even suggest that the 3rd loop would be playable?
