idavis
I really hate work now!! I wish I could have attended and would have gladly made the drive from Austin. Maybe next year I can block out my calendar. Looks like you guys had a great time.

Sarzac
I royally enjoyed the Expo and loved the table that AtariAge had setup. My daughter had a lot of fun with Oregon Trail on the Apple II. :-) Edited November 13, 2011 by Sarzac
+SpiceWare
Having fun with my sister in town so I won't get the slides uploaded until later on this evening. I did upload the walk thru I took with my iPhone though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3X0s3TKdnKY
+Nathan Strum
Nice! I really must get up to CA Extreme someday. Or the NW Pinball show.
+SpiceWare
I'd love to go to CAX, might be a while though as I refuse to fly while the Thug Squad of America is in force. I've already cancelled 2 trips to CA because of them.
+SpiceWare
Presentation slides are up on my site. Unfortunately the iOS version of Keynote does not give me any options on creating the PDF so I was not able to include my presentation notes.
Albert
Just got back to Austin. I took a ton of photos last night, and I will post them up to Flickr within the next 24 hours. The classic game consoles received a ton of attention at the show and people were playing them non-stop! Some people even told the organizers that they were the best part of the show. And you saw them as soon as you entered the show, so there was no avoiding them! Darrell, great presentation yesterday, thanks for taking the time to put it together! Look forward to you giving it again next year. Okay, time to eat! ..Al

Zach
You're probably looking at the Atari section. Try the main page: spiceware.org.

Direct link: http://www.spiceware.org/downloads/Atari%202600%20Homebrew.pdf One of these days I'd like to revamp the site. All the images were created on my OS/2 box! +SpiceWare
I was in the area having dinner with some friends last night, so afterward I stopped by Game Over Videogames. Quite nice! I picked up a few new 3rd party Genesis Controllers for family & friends to wrap up with copies of SF2 for Xmas. I need to go back up with a list of 2600 & 7800 carts that I need The guy working there had been to the Expo (not the guy in the photo) and asked all about the modded Atari systems. I picked up a few new 3rd party Genesis Controllers for family & friends to wrap up with copies of SF2 for Xmas. I need to go back up with a list of 2600 & 7800 carts that I need I need to get out there. I quizzed the guys a bit at the show. One of them wasn't familiar with the MSX, but it sounds like they do get stuff like Turbo Duo/Grafx. They said they mostly focus on consoles. I guess I can't walk in and buy Atari 8-bit computer stuff? Also - thanks to you, Darrell, I am experimenting with Atari 2600 development. +SpiceWare
I don't recall seeing any Atari 8-bit stuff, though I didn't look at everything. I did spot a Commodore 300 baud modem, so they do have some computer stuff. Cool - looking forward to seeing your first completed game
