you'll see my dumps of my own OSS carts, including Action! If the Action! cart is built in the wrong order, I'd appreciate knowing so I can fix it. ;)

It's fine.

Interesting. Your dump differs from mine by just one byte.

They are both Action! ver. 3.6.

I responded to the original Oct. '09 post by Shamus of his ACTION!.A8 dump.

That dump has a 16 byte header, starting with 'CART' that shouldn't be there. And the order of banks is 0 1 9 M, it should be M 0 9 1 for a B cart, at least that's

my black/yellow cart and PUL's .ROM file. I didn't check to see if the ACTION!.A8 runs OK in A8WINPLUS 4 or ALTIRRA 1.9. Maybe it does.

Does it (ACTION!.A8) run in an emulator?

Edit: Yep, it runs in A800WINPLUS 4, but not Altirra 1.9

I removed the header before testing or comparing.

Atari800 2.2.1 accepts Shamus' image as an 034M cart (or whatever the real order turns out to be) just as it does my image.

No problems in Altirra either but I'm using 2.00-test14 because I was wanting to try out SIDE and MyIDE emulations
