QR coding and labeling

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I am looking into using QR codes to inventory my game collection and was wondering if anyone had an idea of what labels would be good to use. I want the labels to stick, but not so much that they leave part of the adhesive or the label itself should I (or someone else) choose to remove them. I would also like to print at least 36 to a sheet. If anyone has an idea I would appreciate it. The other option is to label the containers that have the stuff in them, but then you run into the problem of having to reprint and restick them if you move the things inside the boxes around. Any help you could give me would be appreciated. Thanks.

For anyone interested, I went with Avery 22805 labels. They're 1.5" square, seem to be made to hold up, but peel off easily if you need to (I have several times without marks of any kind. They're about $15 for 600 labels. They have word templates for them if you need it. Hope this helps anyone who is thinking of setting up inventory for their games and equipment.
