chupathingy
I'm not a programmer in the least, I can barely manage using 20 GOTO 10 loops to make my C64 say dirty words. But I am curious. I've been doing a bit of research, and as we all know, Genesis controllers work on the 2600. I also managed to get the keyboard controller to work as a joystick, making navigation through Pitfall maddening. So, Atari has all sorts of little tricks that can be done in terms of controller schemes. But what about the light gun? I would assume that works for the 2600 as well, since the controller ports are bi-directional and the light gun registering a hit would be able to be processed accordingly. This has probably been thought up before, but I'm curious as to what the programming community thinks of it.
