19Echo
My latest Craigslist find from houston resulted in a big motherload of Software and hardware related stuff. Some stuff I never seen before and a lot of the items were brand new never opened before. On the computer side, I ended up with 3 800XLs (Not Pictured) 1 600XL (Not pictured) and what i think to be the funniest 8 bit Portable machine I ever seen. The guy i bought the stuff from said that the XE machine was used at the H.A.C.E. Meetings. Pictures were taken of everything. What i'd like to know is what the board is. I'm really out of space in my room so I dont know what I'm going to do. There were about 12 boxes of Hardware/software and Periphials. I decided to list everything. Someone may have a need to see it or need info from it for whatever reason. If anyone would like to make an offer on anything, shoot me a pm and price. The circuit board from the SH204 hard drive appears to be an Adaptec SCSI to MFM host adapter card, 4000 or 4000A.

+orpheuswaking
Ywah, that SH204 board is just the internals from the shoe box sized ST hard drive. Likely the 204 it came from was upgraded to a different drive. Some neat stuff there, good find
TwiliteZoner
Do you have the ability to scan those user group newsletters? That's the kind of stuff that needs to be archived.

sack-c0s
I wish I'd thought of that kind of rig when I was going to local computer club meetings - would've saved me hours of effort in setup/teardown

19Echo
I wish I'd thought of that kind of rig when I was going to local computer club meetings - would've saved me hours of effort in setup/teardown looks like they did some major splicing or something and tapped everything into an yellow extension cord (computer, TV, disk drive) I'd have to tear it apart and look at it, because its built like a mini desk with a back cover. Worse, i'd hate to plug that baby in if its that old. hmm....ill get back on that. gonna try it
hitchcock4
Atari 8 Bit Software Lot 1 The return of Heracles Diamond OS Atari Basic Walt Disney Mickey in the Great Outdoors Atari 810 Master Diskette II D-Bug Speed King (New) ... Hey, the "The Return of Heracles" is a great game, in my opinion. Unfortunately when I unpacked my old things, 1 of the original 2 disks didn't survive the years. Any chance you can create an XEX or other format of those 2 disks and post them here? Like I said, a great adventure game. If I recall, you had to carefully choose your character to get through all the quests, but it was fun with any character. Wikipedia has a great write-up for anyone who wants to read about it. -Hitch
19Echo
Here are the scanned Group letters that someone asked about. I left them original and didnt noticed that there were adresses (P.O. Boxes) and bbs numbers until the end. I would hope that its okay and that no one would have a problem with it. I also hope someone could maybe archive them on their website as i think they are a part of Atari History. If there is anything else that someone needs scanned, please feel free to ask if someone else has a better site they can host this at, i would appreciate it. the file is 112meg in size and I'd hate for my hosting domain to come after me for bandwith http://www.gmgpestservices.com/newsletter.rar
