AtariBrian
My screen is shrunk like in the picture, but when i tap on the sides of my arcade it flickers to full size picture but then shrinks back. Couple times i moved the game to a different area and it worked with full screen the whole time. Anyone know what could be the problem ? RKGames
I'm sure someone more technical might say otherwise, but i would first start by opening up the back of the cabinet and look for the monitors pot dial controls (There are usually 5 or so little twist dials on the back of all arcade monitors that control various settings like horizontal hold, sometimes color settings ect.) I would suggest slowly turning those while seeing if that fixes the problem first. Please note NOT TO TOUCH the back of the monitor (even if it was just turned off) because it can cause serious injury from high voltage! BE CAREFUL when playing with the monitor from behind. Because my lack of knowledge of how CRT monitors fully work i tend to replace my old monitors with larger LCD screens and use a $50 VGA to Jamma video converter board from jammaboards.com. hope this kinda helps, seeing that no-one else commented yet, i guess some info is better then none. AtariBrian
thanks for the comments. i was just figuring something is just loose or something similiar to that since moved and sometimes it would play full screen when moved.
