SoundGammon
I was thinking the other day how ADVENTURE would make a cool board game. Plays something like CLUE where every player is an evil wizard trying to find the where the Golden Chalice is and try to get it to his/her "castle". Anyone want to add to this idea? Tough mechanics to tackle. Being a boardgame designer myself, I don't think a good boardgame that captures the thrill and atmosphere of the video game can be made out of Adventure. Key to the Kingdom, anyone? http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/1933/key-to-the-kingdom However, you could make a nice little D&D adventure of it.
Seob
Yes boardgame design is hard,. I play a lot of boardgames, and i'm currently trying to find a good boardgame design for the unreleased Odyssey2 game Sherlock Holmes. This would have been the forth Master Strategy game for the system.
Vic George 2K3
I was into wanting to develop board game versions of video games. One of them I did was for Galaxian.

Moe Oliveira
Hi there! I found this topic very interesting and I decided to share with you a mini-game I wrote the other day. It was very much inspired in Adventure from Atari 2600. I recorded a video explaining why I decided to write this game, explaining the rules and also a playing it: You will find a link to a Google Drive folder where you could download the "Print & Play" version of the rules and the tiles. Unfortunately I don't have yet a version translated to English, but I'll try my best to have one as soon as possible. I hope you enjoy it. Cheers!
