Tempest
Is there a way to make the CC2 menu creation program work with Windows 7 64-bit? Every time I try it says that it's not compatible with the 64-bit OS. Tempest

Emehr
If there are any Windows developers here, it should be trivial to write a utility program from scratch. I wrote a CC2 menu program for classic Mac OS and I'd be willing to share the code. You drag a TXT or CC2 file onto the window and it'll convert it in the same directory. lgallair
I have Windows 7 64-bit and the CC2MenuGenerator.exe program runs fine. It appears to be a DOS program.
Tempest
Ok I figured it out, I was using the wrong tool. I'm now using the menu converter tool for my custom made menu file, but I'm running into a problem. It's saying I have too many entries per line. I don't see how as I have a column for the GAME NAME, ROM NAME, BANKSWITCHING, BIOS, and CHECKSUM. If I remove one of the columns (like checksum) then it works but it's probably not working right. any ideas? Here's a little sample of my file: 7800: Ace Of Aces ACE78 78SC_LOW 78BIOS 04bbdc71 7800: Alien Brigade ALIEN78 78SC_BIG 78BIOS 15ef9ec2 7800: Asteroids ASTR78 HSC_16K HSC 53a7468c 7800: Asteroids Deluxe ASTDLX78 HSC_32K HSC 7f3a2ab9 7800: Asteroids VE ASTRVE78 HSC_16K HSC af4a5dc7 7800: Ballblazer BALLBL78 78POKEY 78BIOS 10d821ea 7800: Barnyard Blaster BARNYD78 78SC_LOW 78BIOS cc4d2e4a 7800: Basketbrawl BASKET78 78SC_LOW 78BIOS 52f7a63c
Mayhem
Remove the checksum. My menu files just have the other four columns.

+Mitch
This probably belongs in the 7800 forum but oh well. But to answer the question; if you are creating a CC2ROMDB.TXT file you need the checksums, if you are creating a MENU.TXT file you do not. It just takes a little time to figure it out. can you please pm me your 7800 menu.txt complete with homebrews? It wouldn't help you. 1. I named all my roms with my own naming convention. 2. I haven't updated the list in quite some time so it's probably out of date. 3. My file is on my other PC and it isn't accessible right now. Jinks
This is why the h2 is needed. For me its easier buying all the games than figuring out such witch craft.
