boxpressed
Here's the display system in my basement that I have set up for my "early" consoles. I bought most of these over the past five months. It took me all summer to find shelves that would fit between the desk and the door (to the left of the shelving). They're in no particular order, but I arranged them by how they look at eye level. On the left shelf, moving down: Astrocade, Vectrex and 3D Imager, Odyssey 2 with Voice, Atari 5200, H6 #1 (with a Sears 4SW in the case). Right shelf: Odyssey, Atari 7800, H6 #2, Channel F, Atari XEGS, Intellivision, C64 and 1702. I have to put the console that I want to play where the XEGS is now. The Vectrex is wired to play standing up so that the screen is eye level. Seemed right. The bottom shelves are temporary. I probably won't keep all of the stuff down there but don't have a place to stash them yet. I still need to find a spot for the Colecovision or maybe a Studio II if I can get one for a good price. The regular computer is to the right of the TV. I sometimes like to have attract screen running while I'm doing "real" work. More pics to come later of games and other stuff if I can get everything organized on the other shelves in the room.
