SwedenLynxer
What do you think of it?? Looks like you must have baby-hands to play this. Oh it has "front-lit LCD screen"? Well I think I stick to my Lynx http://pocket.ign.com/articles/381/381613p1.html

SwedenLynxer
Ok, I missed that discussion but I have found that thread now. You know I never visit the Modern gaming-section. Why would you want to discuss "the Playstation 2, GameCube, Xbox, Dreamcast, and other modern platforms" here at AtariAge?
Happy_Dude
I don't notice what forum I'm in half the time I have this page bookmarked http://www.atariage.com/forums/search.php?...rch_id=newposts I'd say Dreamcast is collectable and O.k but anything thats on the market today isn't. and isn't likely to show up in a thrift for under $20. Albert
Ok, I missed that discussion but I have found that thread now. You know I never visit the Modern gaming-section. Why would you want to discuss "the Playstation 2, GameCube, Xbox, Dreamcast, and other modern platforms" here at AtariAge? I play these modern systems as much as I do the classics! The only system I don't have right now is an Xbox, and I don't have any immediate plans to obtain one. Even if there is a $200 package that includes two Sega games and the S-Controller. ..Al
cryptik76
I'd buy a Game Boy Advance SP except I just bought a regular GBA in December and I don't like the idea of a rechargable lithium battery because if anything goes wrong you have to send the unit to Nintendo. It's too bad, though, because I like the design of it and how you can fold it up. If I'm ever playing in the dark I'll use my Lynx anyway. Flojomojo
You really can't compare the GBA (either one) to the Lynx. GBA: Pro: easy to find, networkable, lots of games, good battery usage Con: expensive games, no Atari games like Stun Runner or APB Lynx: Pro: Nice catalog of Atari exclusives, networkable, bright screen Con: can't buy in normal retail shops, no new games, consumes power very quickly I like them both, but the GBA is much more practical for me, especially with the SP version. SwedenLynxer
Con: can't buy in normal retail shops, no new games, consumes power very quick New games are still being released to the Lynx. CyberVirus being the latest. Ultravore, Distant Lands, Bricks, Stardreamer are some of the games we will hopefully se released in the future.
