simonl
Cool, got any videos or screenshots you can post? (Also, this should incentivise me to get on with finishing the 800 version, been very lazy on that front lately due to my "real" work ) Cheers, Simon
+rdemming
Woop, recommended 200MB of harddisk space. I really need to replace the internal HD with a CF-card since mine is still the standard 80MB disk.
Christos
You don't really have to use all the backgrounds, 1 or 2 could be enough. Also the 4mb version is significantly smaller. Still a larger hd does make sense! P.S. avoid sd cards and adapters..
simonsunnyboy
Did anyone try the bare 2,4MB pack without the special backgrounds? Does that work at all?
Christos
And a video of the game: Sorry for the bad audio quality. It's being recorded through the monitor port and not the headphone one...
+CyranoJ
Did anyone try the bare 2,4MB pack without the special backgrounds? Does that work at all? You might get more luck directing that to the author(s) rather than "anyone" Bare minimum is the program file and the 4mb zip. The 14mb zip is pure eye candy

The 14mb zip is pure eye candy Actually, the zip that has the program has one background bundled that works on 4mb machines, which is Templeton's contribution! The rest is us toying around with our shiny new parallax generator
Thorsten Günther
And just after I decided to sell my Falcon... OK, but of course I will keep my Jaguar - and perhaps there's an STE version next. Thorsten

Charlie_
It is worth pointing out that this version of Downfall must play a bit different than the Jaguar version. The bonus items in this version seem to always be placed at a level under the platforms. Unlike the Jag version that places them level with the top of the platforms. That would make for a much different approach to game play for a high score. (Although I notice in the videos many just wind up being unreachable.) I need to save and buy a Falcon. sh3-rg
ON: Downfall Falcon is an on-going project. More will be added, the bonus item issue will be resolved, all good stuff! TG: More likely to be a ct6x version than an STe one (I WISH!) Thanks to those who have played & tested this game, if you want more ST/Falcon games from Reboot, GGN is the man to shout at
