MagitekAngel
I have a Wii and a pile of games for it, but I play it only rarely because keeping the remotes powered is a royal pain in the ass. I've tried two different brands of battery packs and chargers for them: an Energizer one and a Rocketfish one (that one in particular I expected to be pretty good, given that it was Rocketfish). Both of them boasted miserable battery life (I'd kill a remote in 2-3 hours) and quickly degenerated to the point where they wouldn't hold a charge at all. FAIL. I suppose there's nothing to it but to go back to standard rechargeable AA batteries. Has anybody else found success with a different brand of Wiimote battery packs? NinjaWarrior
I'm looking to get battery packs ...I hate using Batteries, what are the best brand??
bomberpunk
we did rocketfish first. that lasted about 6 months. complete crap. we're doing the duracell ones now and they're okay if you play the system regularly.

KrazyKaiju
The Energizer induction battery packs have replacable cells. If you take off the inside sticker you can see the cells are held in by two screws. I replaced mine with Eneloop 1500s and have gotten much better performance (5-6 hours vs 2-3). The only bad thing is that there is only room for AAA cells, not AA.
phaxda
We have a NYKO one; works good. Had another one that I bought at radio shack and it stunk.
Lord Helmet
I just use regular AA Energizer rechargeables. Works in all of my controllers.
CRTGAMER
A large pack of regular Akalines are the way to go, rechargeable batteries cost more. Regular batteries have a one time LONGER runtime then a rechargeable and do not discharge as quickly when not in use. I buy RayoVac Alkaline batteries, cheaper then Duracell or Energizer Alkalines and last just as long.
atarian63
I used to use plain old duracell rechargeables. ,however my kids would steal the batteries for other things, that was why I switched to rechargable packs. Wish there was a duracell brand pack.
nathanallan
http://www.priceangels.com/3600mAh-Rechargeable-Battery-for-Wii-Controllers--Black--s71169.html that is the ultimate way to go; why? Sit next to a plug and off you go. Works excellently for the 360 controller, too. Also needs an AC-USB adapter.

Mendon
A while ago I bought a Duracell rechargeable kit.... 4 AA batteries and the charger... for $10 from Walmart. At first I thought it wasn't a very good system as it seemed the batteries would run down pretty quickly. But as time has gone on, I swear they last as long as any regular Alkaline I've tried. While playing Skyward Sword, I get around 4 hours on the batteries. Since I got 4 batteries with the kit, its easy to charge two while using the other two are in the Wii-mote, so I'm never without a fresh set. Mad Scientist
My family's been using the Energizer ones for about a month with no problems. We use them quite a bit, recharge only sporadically, and haven't run out of charge yet. We actually kept playing on one that was putting up an onscreen low-battery notice for at least two hours, and it kept working. I don't know haw much to trust the Wiimote's reporting of the charge level, but performance has been good.
