Safest way to store NIB/CIB 2600 Games

Hey All,

I have a couple of 2600 games that are still NIB or Complete in box and I was wondering if anyone knew of a plastic case or box solution for storing or displaying them. I have seen such plastic boxes for CIB/NIB NES carts but can't seem to find one for 2600 boxed games. Any ideas? Thanks for the help.

I bought some of their Atari Jaguar box protectors recently, and I'm very pleased with them.

If it's long-term preservation that you're after, as opposed to keeping a game sealed to maximize its resale value, I usually recommend removing the shrinkwrap for reasons I described elsewhere. Clear box protectors like these are a great alternative to shrinkwrap: they let you see the product while doing a better job of protecting it from dents and scratches, they won't shrink and warp the boxes, and you can open and close them whenever you like.

If your games have already been opened, you might also want to consider dropping one of those small silica gel desiccant packets into the bottom of the boxes to help protect against moisture. That and a box protector should keep everything in good shape for a long time.
