Thanks BD They Seem to just be a RGBS amp to go inside of something. Edited December 13, 2011 by bombidragon
mimo
I have never seen a Peritel ST, it is NOT a 7800 RGB board, they look very different and have a 13pin din socket like the ST. Atari did make some RGB 2600 Juniors (made in Ireland iirc) not sure if they had an 8 pin connector. I wouldn't mind getting one from you if you want to sell,
31336haxx0r
Peritel is the French's name (who invented it in the first place) for SCART connectors. AFAIK, there are some versions of the 7800 around here in Europe that could plug into a TV's SCART input. Look here for more stuff on SCART: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCART Edit: oooops! I have never seen a Peritel ST, it is NOT a 7800 RGB board[...] Edited December 13, 2011 by 31336haxx0r
mimo
Ooops, I was confusing myself with Peritel and SECAM somehow, maybe only having 4 hours sleep was the reason. Anyway, you can see the 7800 RGB board in this post. http://www.atariage....ost__p__2041613 Maybe Curt can shed some light? Yes, I have 4 of them here Edited December 13, 2011 by mimo

bombidragon
Im still wondering what these boards go in. I took apart both of my 400 and 800 looking for a space that would be the appropriate size. Any other Ideas????

I could swear someone discussed that as a means of hooking up Jaguars to modern LCD televisions...

Any other Ideas???? I am thinking 400 or 800 to. I remember a post some time ago from an owner of a peritel 400 and 800, they had an 8 pin din socket.http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/62346-atari-400-way-to-use-a-video-monitor-with-it/page__st__25__p__1693926__hl__peritel+400__fromsearch__1#entry1693926 I would love to buy one of the boards from you to have a go
bombidragon
I would love to sell them too, and keep one for my self, but ive looked inside both of my 8 bit atari's and neither have a place or a header for the boards. I also got some cool stuff with them like a couple NOS 2600 connectors.
