Midnight Synergy Posted December 17, 2011 Share Posted December 17, 2011 I'm not a GI Joe fan (never had the figures, comics, saw the first movie, etc), but I did like the C64 game quite a bit. A pity that it was not possible to complete it, though. Anyway, I just saw the trailer for the 2nd movie, and noticed that there's almost a SID-like distortion/slide effect in the middle of the trailer (starting around the 1:45 mark). I doubt this was done intentionally (it's more likely that they wanted their soundtrack to evoke the Tron Legacy soundscape), but I thought it was funny that - in my brain - I made an immediate connection to the commie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSX2oxLdcWA I know I don't really have a point here....
