amiman99
I always wondered about Vintage New In Box / Never Opened games, did anyone wondered is the real game is actually in the box? I know most collectors have brand new games and never opened and are not planning to open them. There could be few scammers taking advantage of that situation. I have few games that are never opened for Jaguar, and I dont really want to open it, but I was wondering if the game is actually inside. I may actually open it. Are there any stories actually happening, anyone willing to share?
+save2600
I've seen where a case of beer has been minus one. Same with a music CD and a box of PB Max candy bars, but never have I witnessed a game cartridge missing from its box. I'm thinking you could tell pretty easily by its weight on something like that.

Ransom
I only buy what I want to play, so if I buy an unopened game, I open it. I've never had an instance where there wasn't a game inside. (Actually, now that I think about it, I do have some unopened games. I bought a bunch of SSI and Infocom titles for the A8 on closeout back in the early 90s, and most of them remain unopened to this day.) Master Phruby
It has happened with IPads. There are a few stories about people switching out the ipad for a lump of clay and returning it to the store. In the toy world, this happens all the time. I always see Star Wars figures repackaged with older figures and returned to Target or Walmart. Those stores will take back anything without even looking at it.
