benjam138
I have a disk drive for my Commodore 128, but with no power supply. The disk drive has 117 volts. I do have a cable, but it says 125 volts. Will the 125 fry the drive? If so, can I get a 117 V cable at Radio Shack. Any help would be much appreciated. -Ben
Ze_ro
If you're talking about an external 1571 drive, you can just use any PC power supply plug (the kind that is rectangular with three plugs). There's no electronics inside the cable, it's just three wires. Don't worry about the voltage, as calling an outlet 120V is very approximate anyways. --Zero
