SlowCoder Posted February 13, 2012 Share Posted February 13, 2012 We've been long-time fans of Mario Karts. I have all of them from SNES up through Wii. A while ago, my son got ModNation Racers for our PS3. If you've never seen it, it's something in between Mario Karts Wii and Little Big Planet. Karts and people are visually customizable, and you can build your own tracks, with a very easy to use editor. You have weapons that build up as you collect power-up balls on the tracks. You get the idea. Oh, and it's not as simple as coming in 1st place to move up. There are often certain required challenges you must complete before you can proceed. Challenges like you have to take 3 people down, take down a certain driver at a specific location, etc. And some of them ain't too easy. Anyway, due to other projects and interests, I hadn't been interested in playing this game. But he's been playing, and he dragged me in for a few sessions. I have to say, this game is quite fun.
