Dig Dug II (New Ver.)

Unlike the first game, Dig Dug II takes place on an island with an overhead view. The goal is simple: to kill all the enemies on the level. There are two types: Pookas, the round orange monsters with goggles, can only touch the protagonist to kill him, but Fygars, the dragons, can breathe fire to burn the protagonist, as well as by touching.

Not real familiar with this game...how do you destroy island parts?

You want big points? Destroy island parts with enemies on them. The more you send into the drink at once, the more points you earn.

Use the other button. DD2 uses 2 buttons. You can group the enemies and drop them together for big bucks. An easy 50k is available on round 10.

Use the other button.

Just to clarify in case it's not obvious, use button #2 on the little wooden stumps that are sticking out around the board. If you "box off" a section near the edge of land, it falls into the water. I'm not positive about this but it looks like the smallest boxed off portion will always be the one that drops (this matters more when the island is getting smaller and making a crack divides it in two).
