I recently saw this Magicard Auction and Had it in my Watch List, I was thinking of Making an offer as the price sounded very good.

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1906689976251?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=190668997625&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

The Listing was taken down and re-listed a few days later for $1500 or best offer. I decided to Put a lowball offer in, and I won it for $950

eBay Auction -- Item Number: 1906693255181?ff3=2&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&item=190669325518&mpt=[CACHEBUSTER]

I noticed that the seller said in this listing, she was selling her fathers collection. Immeadiately i think she may have some more rare games so I send her a message asking if she had any others she would be listing.

Paraphrasing-she only had an NTSC Asterix with a bad label. I told her I would pay her $75 for the Asterix, she agreed. I told her I had to move around some money for payment of the Magicard, but I wold go ahead and pay right now for the Aasterix.

I sent Payment to tgniglas@hotmail.com Lynda Saling for the $75

Everthing was fine and I was transfering the $950

the next two days I had several communications with the seller about the cart, I asked about its provenance and got really nothing, I also questioned its Authenticity and was given more pics and assured if anything was wrong I could send it back.

The label looked very very glossy. and kind of fishy. After many emails and assureing me it wa real, After abunch of things said and things just not adding up. I decided I would go ahead and get it anyway, with PayPal buyer protection and my great feedback I should have no problem.

I sent a message stating I would buy it no problem, but I would have it checked out by an expert and if it was real everything was fine.

I recieved an Email that she dad decided to keep the cart and the Asterix. and refunded my money

I did an Ebay info request and she lives in Wilsonville OR

The Name on her Ebay account is Lynda Salina, Not Saling as is in Paypal. I would assume the real name is Saling as in the Paypal account

Excerpt From Lydasal:

lol - your retarded. Just took it down because people assume things all the time without taking the time to look. It will be listed again and is authentic.

BTW - nobody really listens to newbies on atari age. I'm one of the big sellers there and very trusted. You've been blocked. "

Oh? Is that so?

Interesting that I've never heard of this person before. I wonder what their AA handle is?

At any rate - I'm sure it's gone to a good home.

How may time are you going to Edit this, Huh Troy, Troy Saling that is

Here is the real story,

I bid on the Magicard and won, I tried to see if he had any other games and he reponded that he had an Asterix with a bad LAbel I said I would pay $75 for it and he/she agreed. I paid for said Asterix as seen above and told him I would wait to pay for the other auctions

I saw who I had Just paid Lynda Saling, and I had just read on 2600connection.com that Troy"allhallowseve"Saling had sold his magicard to Wonder007 in 2010, I immeadiately knew they were one in the same.

I questioned Lyndasal the next evening sking if it was the same cart as Allhallowseve was selling that he broke and put a repro board in, or was she Troy, the response was:

post-25505-0-06221000-1335826150_thumb.png and he seemed to know the link to Allhallowseve Magicard that didnt sell, even though it was to old to come up when I tried to list completed listings

http://cgi.ebay.com/...c#ht_544wt_1185

I then lookede up Troy Saling and found

post-25505-0-44182700-1335826527_thumb.png

I then was a little more adiment and said I didnt care who she/he was I just wanted to make sure it wasnt the Repro board, I said(seeing how Lynd'a age is 60) IS Troy your Son?

I was 100% sure it was Troy, buy I was going to buy the cart anyway , with Paypal Buyer protection on my side I sent him a message that I would pay for it and have it checked out by an expert here from AA, If it was legit we were all good. If not I would return it. In a previous message she/he said returns would be fine.

here is the reply

Yep god forbid someone should stick to a original deal, regardless if you got a offer after it was closed that was more. I've had that happen before and always stuck by the original deal, just good business. Otherwise you are just showing how crooked and greedy you really are. Money is not the most important thing in the world, can always make more money. And that is coming from someone who is permantely disabled for life and lives on 12K a year in disability money.

edit: along with the fact if you have mulitple Ebay accounts whos to say you aren't driving up the prices on your own auctions that is some BS as well

Lol - Yes, some people won't deal with me because people think I'm a hardass ultra rare guy - So I use that account every once in a while. And sometimes...I just like to see what people pull. My apologies - A deal as struck for a far better amount and if there's any issues - I always refund. Hundreds here can attest to the games I've sold them. Side deals are good right 181?

My apologies to the guy I went off on a while back as well - He really got to me and I called him some bad names.

lol - holy stalker/psycho - post #18. He's hired a private eye. I think it's kinda funny but at the same time kinda scary that you might show up on my doorstep in just a few moments - I'm not too worried tho. If you have any problem with me - PM me - I won't answer you because your weird (that's part of the reason I won't deal with you anymore)- but you can always try :)

Sorry your such a sore loser - Do some more research and tell us what you find. Maybe you'll find that I am a serial killer and watch porn sometimes when I'm alone.

Personally In Real Life I don't care either, but when you are trying to sell stuff here, and on Ebay Reputation matters. Having a reputation that you will lie, side deal, do w/e you can to make extra money instead of honoring a business deal, will just cost you now and in the long run. Especially considering you try to make and sell reproduction carts like the TCM Alternate ending that you currently have for sale on Ebay as well. Do w/e you want to but you got caught lying mutiple times and just killed any kind of chances of actually selling anything here for a long time and probably on Ebay from anyone who frequents here. Hope a little extra money was worth it.
