schuwalker
Has anybody played this version before - any good? It looks like it was only available on the Amiga and only marketed across the pond - wonder why since the 'graphic' version was a big hit here in the states? Cebus Capucinis
It was available on PC as well, in fact I had it when it was new. It is a very good little adventure game -- hard but not so hard as to get to the point of making you want to throw the monitor -- and the action sequences in the game (such as fighting, etc.) are very well done as well. It's definitely up there with the rest of the Lucasarts games in terms of quality and fun.
schuwalker
C.C. are we talking about this one?
Cebus Capucinis
LOL, nope, was thinking of the original game. Seems to be essentially the same plot and everything, only nowhere near as good.
Impaler_26
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis was also released on the Commodore 64. I haven't played it but the graphics are ugly as hell... http://www.lemon64.com/games/details.php?ID=1288

I haven't played it but the graphics are ugly as hell... http://www.lemon64.c...ils.php?ID=1288 Agreed. I consider the Amiga version the best with the PC version not far behind. The reason I know this is because I helped gametest it twenty years ago. I thought they were not going to release the C64 version but I was wrong. Recently had a chance to play the C64 version in an emulator and it looks like shit - pretty much the way I remembered it. The only other game I helped test during my short stay at Lucasfilm Games was the NES game "Defenders of Dynatron City". That one was kind of shitty too. Emehr
Wow, I never knew this existed. Talk about consumer confusion using the same name for two different games. I love the point'n'click Fate of Atlantis. Need to fire that up again one of these days.
Arkhan
That action oriented one sucked really bad. The clicky adventure one kicks ass.
