JohnnyRockets
Okay, please don't stomp on me for this post... I had an idea that seemed appealing at the time I had it... I was thinking how cool it would be to start a thread that was an ASM learning class. I am not the guy to do this at the moment, but maybe someday I will be. But maybe this as already been done also. I know there are some amazing tutorials out there! I would never want to recreate something that has already been done better than I could do it! ; ) The class could be something where a "problem" is given and everyone tries to solve it. Maybe with the end intention to be a finished "chunk" of a game? Maybe this is a bit unrealistic, but it seemed like an interesting idea. I personally find ASM to be facinating, but I am also only starting out and am truly beneath a "novice". But maybe the difficulties aren't with ASM as much as with the "special needs" of programming the 2600. Just thoughts. JR

JohnnyRockets
I am using this now. It is great! I was just thinking of something a little more "live" with a group of peeps, but in reality the more I think of it, it would probably be a bit redundant and unrealistic. GroovyBee
I am using this now. It is great! Have fun! I was just thinking of something a little more "live" with a group of peeps, but in reality the more I think of it, it would probably be a bit redundant and unrealistic. If you look at the tutorials they were "live" when they first ran.

potatohead
And don't forget to just post up questions. Link to the section you are working on and state your goal and post the code. Plenty of help here.

+Gemintronic
It'll be live/interactive as in, when you post a question or report on progress I'll be lurking. Best to leave the hurdles and headaches to someone else and benefit from the results! Mwahahaha!!! ahem.. *cough* Edited May 17, 2012 by theloon
