MrRetroGamer
The seller aqua_vibe has 11 auctions for video game magazines that are using images taken from my website without my permission. I know for a fact that those are my images, I scanned them all myself, and I can tell from the same names on the mailing labels, to the same creases, defects and orientation of them on the cover, etc. I'm not sure eBay cares about this, but I may notify them anyway just to see. Meanwhile, if anyone is watching these items and interested in what this seller has to offer (obviously integrity is not one of those things) BEWARE - for what you see is not what you will get! Oh no!! aqua_vibe is too lazy and stole your images from your website without permission!! I wish Ebay must remove aqua_vibe's auction or must remove the images where stole from your website and he must take picture of his own. I agreed with you about aqua_vibe is cheated and dishonest! Snider-man
Simple solution and one that's fun. Change the images to be something incredibly horrific. If it's a game or system, change the pictures to be underwear or broken electronics. Guy can't change the ad, so he's stuck with Fu'ed images. Plus, place a note in the photo that he's a phot-stealing scumbucket. That'll show 'im.
punkoffgirl
You should do what Ive seen other people do to images of theirs that have been hijacked.. Change the image the url points to. Have it be some dumb image, and type over it "THIS SELLER IS AN IMAGE THIEF, THIS IS NOT HIS PHOTO AND NOT HIS PRODUCT." or Bandwidth thief, whichever you feel more appropriate. So, say he's using www.blahblah.com/magazineimage.jpg Rename THAT image to magazineimage1.jpg, and name the new "message" magazineimage.jpg People viewing his auction will see it before he realizes that you've changed the images. He looks like an ass.

Brad2600
Change the links to the photos to be like hardcore porno or something so when the clueless bidders take a gander at it, they'll be so horrified that the seller will be left penniless in a sanitarium, forced to live out the last days of his life among peasants and transients. Going a bit too far..but I'd hate it if that happened to me.
NE146
That only works if the guy is linking to the pics directly.. if he saved the pictures and uploaded them somewhere else.. then you're sol
Albert
Go to the following page on eBay, print and fill out the form and then fax it in to the number on that page. eBay will then end the auction(s) in question. eBay - Notice of Infringement ..Al

MrRetroGamer
eBay has YANKED all 11 of the offending auctions! WOO-HOO! AWESOME!! That will teach those lamers out there that you can't do crap like that!!! Gotta hand it to eBay with the response time on this one, pretty efficient, less than 24 hours! Buh-BYE!!!! siennalake
WTG, Mr. RetroGamer!! Show them who's boss! You should email that seller and tell him/her what an ass they are. If nothing else can be said for Ebay, it seems like they do a good job in fraud control. I have read several times lately that Ebay has done a good job in pulling auctions because of con artist seller/bogus pictures, etc. If only they would work on the feedback system. Yeah, I usually write someone and ask them to remove the image(s) in question. Only once have I ever used the form I linked above to have an auction ended. I don't spend a lot of time scouring eBay looking for people who've copied our images. If I did, I could spend half the day sending faxes to eBay. ..Al

As a matter of fact, I did email them immediately when I discovered the listing. Funny how they didn't get back to me until AFTER the auctions were pulled. It turns out that they sounded sorry and their tone was very apologetic. So I'll let it go at that. I would have let people use the image if they has asked me first and posted a disclaimer in the auction that they were using an image with permission from my site. I'm not really THAT mean!
