Opcode Space Invaders Question in Virtual Adam

A quick question....I downloaded the ROM from these boards, but cannot get it to work in Virtual Adam.

 

The game boots, I chose Space Invaders with the fire button on my USB controller, and then nothing......

 

No keyboard keys start it, and no buttons on my controller start it. I am in an endless demo.

I know the cartridge is sold out, and this is the only way I can play it.

 

Anyone have any thoughts or help? Am I missing something on my settings?

 

All other ROMS work fine using a combo of keyboard and USB controller.

 

EDIT: I know, I know, search is my friend. I found an old thread saying it does not work in Virtual Adam. But...did anyone ever get it to work?

Hit Enter on the "keypad". If you are using a laptop with no keypad then I don't know.

Hi Bartsfam.

 

For playing Space Invaders Collection from OpCode Games on PC, I use blueMSX.

 

Select settings, emulation, and in general machine select: ColecoVision with opcode Memory Extentions.

 

Select file, cartridge slot 1, insert.

 

It works for me.

 

In Virtual ADAM try this: Make sure the newest ROM file is in the right folder.

It pops up in the left side when you start the emulator.

Click on the file, push the boot button and it should start up the game.

Use arrows to chose and ALT to select, then insert credit and press 1.
