Here's his additional advice: Hi, David, Hold the Lynx vertically. Enter the code fairly rapidly -- it won't work if you have long pauses between the button presses. Don't worry, others have also had trouble with the code, but I guarantee it works. I once had someone bring his Lynx and his Lexis to my Songbird booth, and had me type in the code myself to prove it worked. I did it, and it worked.
