voltron
So yesterday I decided to play one of the intv 2 consoles. i grabbed a lookse cart and it was donkey kong. Anyway the controller felt odd, specifically the lower left right left button. seem like the tactile feedback wasnt there so i made the mistake of pulling the cartrdige out why it was still on. I grabbed a different intv2 and put the cartridge in, same thing that lower left side button felt weird, so i figure maybe im not use tothe controllers. Well I decided to play donkey kong junior game. Initially im losing, Finally im about to pass level one when all of a sudden the screen went green. I hit reset set and nothing, screen went green. Put another cartridge and the game worked. Put dk jr. in and got the green screen. So it looks like i fried the cartridge.
IntellivisionDude
Just to make sure, A. is the cartridge clean? B. try not inserting the game fully. Slide the game in all the way then slightly wiggle one side of the cart out less than an inch then turn it on. I have a lot of carts on the Intellivision and 2600 that won't work fully inserted. stc2009
I didn't think Coleco donkey kong worked on Intellivision 2 in any case.
cparsley
DK does not play in the white INTV, due to a neat little trick Mattel put to try to lock out companies like Coleco... Get a version 1 and try it there
voltron
Does that apply to dk jr? Dk jr worked on the intv2 for a while until the screen went green.
