Remind me please, how do I tell MAME OS X to take inputs from my Logitech?

Some of my MAME OS X games are currently accepting inputs from my Logitech dual analog gamepad, but others aren't. I'm specifically hoping that if I can use the controller with Congo Bongo, maybe I'll have better luck than I ever did with the keyboard.

 

You see, my brain has a hard time with translating Congo Bongo's angled controls to my keyboard's up/down/left/right arrows. I figure being able to use the gamepad's actual angled directions would help tremendously.

Never mind, I remembered how to do it. You hit the tab key while the game is loaded and running.
