bomberpunk
i have a Nyko-brand 8MB PS2 memory card (two actually) chock full of data, but the system is not recognizing it. they've had some water damage done some years back and have sat in a box since. i've taken them apart and cleaned the insides with vinegar, let them dry, and tried again. still no dice. is there any way to save this information or transfer it to a PC with some kind of MacGyver wire contraption. someone i can send this off to? Protoplasym
I hope you gain access to your saves... good luck. (wish I had some advice for you) sorry... I know moral support ain't worth much.. I assume you've tried the card on different systems.....
ProperRogue
If you have access to UlaunchELF(FreeMcBoot), you can backup your saves via USB stick and then simply transfer them to the PC. Edit: Assuming of course your PS2 is an earlier model, and the MC's still have at least some life left in them.
