I remember trying similar products on the PSone and had problems with data retention. Jerry Jessop, where are you? jjessop Posted February 2, 2003 Share Posted February 2, 2003 Nope, not sanctioned or licensed by Sony........these expanders work "most of the time" but I assure you trouble will come your way. The Sony "Dual Pack" of cards is pretty cheap and the Nyko licensed card is as low as 15-19$ in the U.S. and a much safer route. krisjohn Posted February 3, 2003 Share Posted February 3, 2003 I bought a "Harder Drive" by Joytech when I got my PS2. http://www.joytech.net/product.asp?id=44 Unfortunately it's the parallel port version and it needs to be plugged into a PC and a PS2 at the same time to function. When (if) I re-arrange my equipment I'll be able to hook it up permanently. It functions as avertised though and effectively negates the need to ever buy more than one memory card.
