dafivehole
My Wii died so I got a replacement off eBay... everything works great but I downloaded a VC game (Super Mario Land) and there are ghost images flashing all over the screen. Luckily I'm not epileptic. I tried saving to an SD card the next time and the flashing ghost images are gone but the resolution is really crappy. Nothing else in the set-up changed other than the console itself. Games on disc look great as always. Can anyone help here? Roger
Atariboy
I didn't realize original Game Boy games were available for download on the Wii's Virtual Console service. If the Game Boy emulator works like many of the other VC emulators do, selecting 480i in the Wii's dashboard will output the Game Boy game at its original resolution. But if you select 480p, the game should be upscaled and deinterlaced (If necessary) to 480p. So give 480p a try and see if your tv is struggling with the Game Boy's original resolution. dafivehole
I'll be damned... that did it! Thank you so much... switching it to 480p did the trick Thanks again, Roger Sorry, Super Mario World not Land Edited September 3, 2012 by dafivehole
