MattG/Snyper2099
For anyone interested, I'm making a batch of verctrex controllers from genesis controllers. These function VERY WELL and, are much easier to use than an origional vec controller. I'll have them available for trade as well as for sale at Phillyclassic in March. Not sure on prices yet but they shouldn't be over $35. I will also have a vectrex set up so you can test it out before you buy one. I stand behind my work and if you have a problem with your controller after the show, I'll fix it free of charge. MattG.
MrRetroGamer
Thats cool, but usually John Dondzila has some converted Genesis control pads at the show too, and I think they are normally only $20.
MattG/Snyper2099
Man, he must know something I don't. Here's how I came up with the price: Genesis controller $5 Parts $1.50 Hour and 1/2 of my time $20 I don't see how he could only charge $20. That's like giving them away for free. Also, I'm looking to trade these controllers for the most part, not make money off of them. Also, will John offer to fix the controller for free if it stops working? MattG. MrRetroGamer
I don't know, just passing on the info that's on his site: http://www.classicgamecreations.com/controllers.html Pretty sure he had some last year at his table in Philly.
